METHOD

1. IMMERSION

Cultural studies and audience insights
  • What is your goal?
  • What do people actually believe?
  • Where did those beliefs come from?
  • What stories are already out there —
    both working for us and against us?
  • Of the people we can potentially move,
    who's worth moving?
The cultural lever. A concise clarification of the audience and the subcultures to which they belong, and how we can meet them where they are.

2. NARRATIVE

Strategic messaging and positioning
  • What's the one idea we're here to plant?
  • What frame makes that idea feel true?
  • What's the story only we can credibly tell?
  • What do we have to stop saying for any of this to work?
  • How do we speak with authority and resonance?
The narrative frame. A single, ownable throughline that reframes our idea through their lens so it feels compelling and true. This is the north star that every later phase points.

3. CONCEPT

Campaign ideas and propaganda
  • What's the most undeniable expression of this idea?
  • What makes someone feel it before they understand it?
  • What forms does it take — film, series, experience, object?
  • Where's the surprise that makes it impossible to scroll past?
The big idea. The specific, surprising thing that turns a strategy into something people will choose to engage with — the moment where the message disappears and the creative expression takes over.

4. PRODUCTION

Design and creation
  • How do we make this with the right craft, at the right speed and at the right price?
  • How do we protect the idea through the making of it?
  • Who are the exact right people to make this happen under our direction?
  • Where does craft elevate the idea?
The work. The tangible outputs that will show up in feeds, cast on screens, deploy on servers, build in physical spaces, and be targeted to the audience we aim to move.

5. ROLLOUT

Media planning and distribution
  • Where and when does this have to land to actually work?
  • Who helps us carry it the last mile?
  • Did their beliefs change? How will we know?
  • What do we do next?
